When It’s Considered ?
- For women who have had surgery but still struggle to conceive after several months.
- For women over 35, where age-related fertility decline makes waiting risky.
- If the fallopian tubes remain damaged after surgery.
- If the couple has other infertility issues (low sperm count, poor egg quality, or unexplained factors).
Procedure / Approach
- 6–12 months natural try period: Doctors often suggest trying to conceive naturally after surgery before moving to treatments
If pregnancy doesn’t happen:
- Ovulation induction (medications) to help release healthy eggs.
- Intrauterine insemination (IUI): Washed sperm is directly placed inside the uterus during ovulation.
